Multiplicity
A flow of selves. The self that experiences the joy of this world is far different in kind than that of the self that experiences hunger, that experiences sadness, and so on. The alcoholic or the drug addict in us is far different in kind from the child in us. What would happen if the alcoholic or drug addict spoke with the child, the lover, the jester, the logician, or the sage within us? We are a festival of different spirits, personalities, selves, etc. Thus we must build a stage upon which each one may play its role.
