i need a windows update
not too happy with my pretty computer right now. i can't log into my own area, it freezes when i try to, so i've been logging in to the admin area, and that now freezes when i try to log out, so it's basically a lose lose situation. oh well, i've at least managed to make half of my wireless work. but i will be visiting the wonderful help desk soon.
oh, and that o-so-easy computer class that i thought i would enjoy because there is basically no work, i am already extremely bored of. it's unfortunate really, we've only had 3 classes and i feel like i know more about computers than my professor, who also happens to be my advisor. at least he's nice.
and i have a way (hopefully) of getting home for our oct. break. i got an email from someone who said they are going to upper manhattan. lena bell, or anyone that knows really, should i take a train in from there, or should i convince the parents to drive and get me? i dunno, it's still all tentative, but i like to plan ahead.
it has finally stopped raining here(ok, i lie, it stopped yesterday) but it's so nice to see the campus without an umbrella over my head.
ok, so, hypothetically speaking, if i had a class where the lectures made sense and i seem to get what they're saying, but the reading is way over my head, is that ok? will i actually pass by just understanding what's going on during class? there really should be sparknotes for these textbooks. i'm dumb.
other than that, i love all my classes, and my roommates, and the roomies around mine, and my mentor group. i feel like i sometimes relate everything to camp or home and that it should eventually annoy my roommates, but it hasn't so far. :)
i haven't talked to sam in daaaays. is she still alive?
