life has a bit of twist in its path.
alright, so you probably saw my previous entry, and thought what the fuck? yeah. i was being cruel to myself emotionally. life just throws some weird stuff in your path.
anyway, on my way to work sunday march 19th, i got into a car accident. it was on shore drive in front of the volunteer rescue squad. there is a light there that is usually flashing yellow, well it turned red abruptly and i didn't realize and ran into the back of someone. i was lucky the right lane next to me did not have anyone in it and i swerved into it. i didn't hit him dead on. i created about 3,000 dollars worth of damage to my car. i have full coverage though, so i'm paying 500 dollars, and i have a rental car till mine is fixed. so, my insurance will probably go up now. yippie, more to pay for! the guy i hit was really nice about the whole situation.
so here is the interesting part. some of you might have remembered me going to a funeral my freshman year for a friend of the family, brooke. she was 16 and died in a car accident because she wasn't wearing her seat belt. well, my car accident happened in the EXACT same spot her accident happened on september 17th 2003. now, i have no clue what this means. but yeah, it obviously means something. i might have died if i wasn't wearing my seat belt, or if i didn't swerve into the right lane. it's just insane. what are the chances of that?
