Long Time No Update.
Gah... this summer has been insanely busy. I mean insane. Between work and class I had no time to do anything with anyone from like... June through the middle of July. Class went well though - I ended up with an A.
Work was awesome too. I'm really sad that I won't be back there until December. Everyone was fun to talk to, and it was just great experience all around for what life will be like when I graduate. We're getting a new clean room/IV room that will be the new state of the art thing that everyone wants. I feel special. I'll get to be trained in it once it's finished & I get through more of the program. I got some good insight into the Boards too... one of the pharmacists just got his license in July while I was there... he was telling everyone about the Boards. I'm nervous about them... but I don't have to really start worrying for 2 more years.
Today was fun... had a lot of time to think in the car on the way out to CO for Amy's wedding. We're currently in Lincoln NE... fun fun. I was thinking earlier - I've done so many things this year/summer that I never would've pictured myself doing. 1) I'm vice president of Anime Club. Honestly - who of you that knew me in high school would picture me as VP of anything? 2) I started YALR (pronounced yaw-ler) Young Adult Lutherans of Rockford, a bible study for 18-25 yr olds... cause there was nothing out there that targeted my age group. We've had two meetings so far & they've gone really well. And finally, 3) Kay & I started a guild on WoW. Not the most important thing by any means, but seriously... 3 leadership type things in one summer, plus a full time job? I must be going crazy.
Anyways, the family is getting restless and craving food, so I'm taking off for the night. Hope all's going well for everyone. Those of you in Rockford, see you again on the 10th!
