Nobuo Uematsu is going to be at Anime Boston this year.

I'd give my kidneys to go see him. Or my first born.

The guy who composed pretty much all of the music for, well... pretty much every Final Fantasy ever. Though he's been slowing down his involvement in the later titles of the franchise.

Oh, awesome! It'd be like getting to see Koichi Sugiyama! (Dragonquest composer. XD Sorry! I love the rival!)

Pretty much. And yup, Koichi has produced some rather nice tunes over the years.

I mean, you know you're playing a Dragon Quest game when you open the game and "that theme" plays ;)

*<- Is the proud owner of all of the original Dragon Warriors on the NES, the remake of DW3, the remake of DW4/DQ4, the remake of DQ5, Dragon Warrior 7, Dragon Quest 8 and eagerly awaiting the remake of Dragon Quest 6 and the release of Dragon Quest 9 for the DS :) *

Ahaha. I have I-IV for NES on an emulator, V, VI, 1&2 remake, III remake for SNES on an amulator, VII and VIII for playstation/ps2. Also have CDs of the orchestral arrangements of the music for III, a live concert version of IV, and a "Best" compilation. :is a bit obsessive:

WANT the DS remakes, but have no DS. And I've lived back and forth between the States and Korea for the past like, 9 years, so usually I don't have the PS2 available for VII and VIII D:

Ahhh.

DS are easy to get an hold of nowdays, though. The Lite sells for about 120$, if not "merely" 100$ nowdays, whereas the DSi is about 170-180$(note I'm using canadians dollars).

Which makes the DSi still a better deal than it's PSP Go rival which, last I checked, still sell for -more- than a Nintendo Wii.
