Sighing, but after a few minutes, Klavier finally opens the door and tries to give his best fake smile to Ema, but he quite quickly realises she would just see through him and the smile turns into something that was just forced on his face. ]

He closes his eyes, biting his lower lip whilst he slides his fingers through his hair, breaking his charasteristic drill hair at the same time. The hand stays on the side of his head, as the German finally turns to look at her properly, the look on his face a mix of shame and guilt. ]

I... [ He begins, but right away pauses. Again, his gaze wanders away from Ema, his hand tensing and grabbing his hair momentarily before moving to his forehead and from there in front of mouth, where it stays for a moment as the man stands there frowning. Eventually, the hand drops down, clenching to a fist on his side. ] ... I made out with Schuldig.

The laughter is short lived, however, and she quickly sobers and replies: ]
So did I. And I did worse with Gilgamesh.
[She waits for judgment over that last sentence.]

Now he mostly looks unamused by this, not because of her making out with other men, but because of the laughter because nngh, manly pride! But he knows she didn't do it on purpose, but still. ]

At the question, she shrinks back and lowers her gaze back down to the floor. As miserable as the Schuldig thing is, it's not her primary source of guilt. When she speaks, her voice is small.]
