Does anybody know if there's a way to block certain users from posting in one's journal?

Other than not having them be in your list and friend's locking I don't know of any, I'll see if I can find something during my break

you can screen non-friend comments... though that doesn't remove the work

Not to my knowledge. Best way I can think of is default your journal to screen all comments, that way you can get rid of theirs without them ever being seen.

Hah. No, it's a douchebag who is not worthy of gazing upon even my public entries, yet is too thick-skulled to have removed me from his friends list, even though he dislikes me strongly.

He might even be reading this right now...but I have faith that he's too stupid to realize that I'm talking about him. :)
