Change up
So, I changed my lj look once again for the spring season. I like it. ^^ I did this around 11:30 last night due to the fact that I was trying to stay awake so I could sleep later. lol. Anyway, I went to Canada again with Brett, Kevin, and Kate. It was loads of fun. Brett had been in South Carolina for a week (and had a great time ;) ), and then drove 890 miles from there to Brockport. Oh, how I love my brother so. We ended up hanging out here because Brett fell asleep. I had him sleep up in Kate's bed while Kate and I shared my bed. He was so tired. He fell asleep around 8 - 8:30. He woke up at about 1 - 2ish so he needed to be entertained. The two of us went to the fridge and sat there talking till about 3ish. It was fun. We just got to catch up with one another. The next day we got up at about 11, and Brett, Kevin, and I went to three different malls to find some pc parts for Brett. Kate had rehearsal until 4ish. Once she got back we left for Canada.
We got there pretty quick, I fell asleep in the car. Kate woke me up for me to go into the rest stop with her. lol She was hyper. We got to Canada and went to our hotel, the Hilton. It was really nice. We took the wrong elevator, so we had to go down again and take the other one. The guys left for the casino, just to check it out. Kate and I decided to go to the hot tub while they were out. muahaha. It was nice but we overheated. We came back and took showers to get the smell of chlorine off. After that the guys came back and we went to TGI Friday's for dinner. I had a strawberry daiquiri. It was very tasty. Dinner was hilarious, and we paid and left. The exchange rate was $1.17 at that time. We went to the casino right across from the Hilton, and got in. We walked around for a little, and then Kate and Brett went to the bar. I walked with Kevin and he gambled a little. We caught up with the other two and I got in line for a drink. It took forever to get one (screwdriver). Kevin went off to gamble while we got drinks. I got mine and the three of us sat down to hang out. I started to laugh a little bit (remember I don't drink much so it doesn't take much for me). We went looking for Kevin and couldn't find him anywhere. So we hung out by the bar because that was the last place he knew we were. We each got another drink and looked for Kevin again. We found him and he told us he won over $100. :D That was way cool. We went over to the place he had won and Brett tried his hand at it..and lost $60. We left and went to the hotel's martini lounge. I got one last drink...which I couldn't finish. I was quite tipsy. Kevin took me back to the room, Kate and Brett stayed there. I soaked in the room's huge tub with Kevin (we wore suits) and talked till about 1:30. It was amazing. True I was tipsy so I had a little hard time talking correctly lol. But it was great all the same.
Kevin started to get worried about the other two so I called Kate. They had gone back to the casino. I got into bed and started to fall asleep. Kate and Brett came back and were drunk lol, but they just told me how much they loved me. Awww. They left again and then came back. Kevin got a few videos of them. ^^ The next morning we got up and went to the hot tub. It was nice to sit in. We each and a slight headache, but Kevin didn't cause he didn't drink. He was the designated walker for the night lol. We went back upstairs and packed up to leave. Oh, and we exchanged our money and the exchange rate changed to $1.98 or something overnite. Crazy! The drive back was nice...I was so tired. Brett left right after dropping us off here. I was so tired. Kate and I just got into bed and fell asleep.
Yup so that was the weekend. Lots of fun. I'm glad Brett came up here. It was great. Ttyl all.
