DETENTION!!!

Jan 29, 2005 17:46

Anyone with information regarding the incident that occurred earlier this week in the Slytherin dungeons should report to my office immediately. I am displeased and appalled! Thanks to your little prank, I have slime on the bottom of my cloak and even with the most extensive of cleaning spells, the stench still remains. And it's not a very pleasant ( Read more... )

Severus, what seems to be the trouble?

I highly doubt detentions are going to solve the problem. Afterall, I'd imagine you were able to clean things up. No harm done.

Oh, don't play all oblivious and smug with me, Lupin! You know exactly what the trouble is! My dungeon, my dungeon has been flooded by imbeciles!

No harm done?! What, are you covering for them now? You are, aren't you! There's no question in my mind that they're from your house, of course. These criminals must be punished!

Things may be cleaned but the damage has already been done.

Severus, I think you need to take a calming draught. You need to get ahold of yourself. You're acting a bit manic. I understand that you're upset, but this is no way to be handling things.

I am not covering for anyone. And they're not criminals, just kids acting up on a lark, I'm sure. I will look into the matter though if it will ease your mind.

I am not upset! I'm displeased, you insensitive GIT! Don't try to get me to calm down! My pride has been assaulted with this attack and you think I can just brush it off as a lark?! Who do you think I am, Lupin? You?

Severus, there's no need for that sort of language. I'm just trying to help. I'm not saying that you shouldn't have a right to react the way you are, but it's rather infantile for you to be throwing what is essentially a temper tantrum in a public journal.

Maybe you should take a walk, have some tea, read a book, do something to get your mind off of this.

How dare you tell me I shouldn't be using 'that sort of language' when you just turn around and call me an infant! I am not a bloody infant! I am a grown man, damnit!

...are you asking me out on a date?

I'm not calling you an infant, Severus. I was just saying that your behavior at present seems rather infantile.

Now where in Merlin's name would you get that idea from?

Well, you like to go for walks, drink tea, and read books. I only assumed that you meant that we do those things together. It's no secret that you are lusting after me, afterall.

I agree with you entirely, Professor Lupin.

I hear he "gets ahold of himself" more often than he should. Then again, the man obviously has a lot of tension to work off

Thank you, Mr. Weasley. I'm sure no one meant to directly antagonize Professor Snape through their actions.

I suppose it's best he works out his tensions on his own than acting out on others.

Of course they meant to antagonize! That's what children do these days! They mock and taunt and are generally foul and disrespectful! They should all be punished!

Perhaps you could suggest a better way to work out my tensions?
