Happy New Year Everyone!!
today is like a fresh start etc. My Mom decided to make it into a spring cleaning type thing and forced the participation of everyone in the house it kinda sucked in one way but I will grudgingly admit that the house needed it and it looks alot better now.
Last night I hung out with some friends at Melissa's place and we played scatigories and ate cake and toasted the new year in 2 min. late with gingerale since nobody felt like drinking and Melissa and Jen can't because they are prego. fun times were had by all, but it didn't quite feel like new years untill I woke up this morning and it was that really nice feeling of starting off with a clean slate. I really like that feeling and I hope it lasts for a while and I end up feeling good about all the new things I'll be able to do. I wish I could make myself feel like this everyday, I guess I could try and see what happens.
Anywho, the whole family is getting together for New Years Dinner which is kind of a first for my family, or at least I don't ever remember doing it before. it is kinda cool.
and as per my new years plans my Apt. hunting starts today. I wouldn 't let myself start earlier because I didn't want to end up finding a place and having to move in at the beginning of Jan instead of the end of the beginning of Feb. I'm looking forward to starting that new adventure.
I truely despise writting resume's but I've really got to suck it up and make a nice one and I think I'll at least start with the basics today and then work on making it look pretty as I go.
