And once again politicians make piranhas look like teddy bears.
I don't know if Charles Kennedy should stay on as the Liberal Democrat leader or not. If his drink problem has caused his party to miss some good opportunities then that is something to be concerned about but it still seems like a poor way to repay a leader who has given the Lib Dems their best election results for decades. He says that he has not drank alcohol for months now and I think he deserves the chance to prove himself capable or incapable over the next few months but I can't see it happening. Charles Kennedy has been shown to have a weakness and in politics that is something you aren't allowed to have.
