Of Rides & Quarterlife... ^^;
After a day in Enchanted Kingdom, you realize you're getting old when... ^^
→ You tend to be more patient. Under the scorching heat, waiting in queue and taking one ride at a time. Even being extremely calm under pressure. Having fun talks under the shade while waiting for your colleague's laptop to boot with successive critical pages coming in your mobile. Talk about perfect timing.
→ You are a bit thankful the Space Shuttle's down for maintenance that day. Being the oldest in the bunch, you won't need then to show the younger peeps you're with that you're definitely not a wimp.
→ Flashbacks keep on coming while you are seated in the Flying Fiesta. Hearing the chains clatter makes you paranoid and all that. If worse comes to worst, you know it's gonna be a high and hard fall.
→ You suddenly find Roller Skater thrilling more than you used to. Even willing to ride it gazillion times consecutively.
→ Taking a Bump Car at the Dodgem reminds you how you've been wanting to learn to drive. Even though it's none of your plans to go and get your own car soon, it's just one of those things you gotta know how to do.
→ Being all wet after riding the Rio Grande and letting your clothes dry naturally left you feeling cold and chilly. You suddenly feel your muscles ache twice or thrice too.
→ Stopping at the top of the Wheel of Fate for some 5 minutes or so makes you wanna go and do a Bucket List when you get home. Kind of a Top-10-Things-To-Do-Before-You-Die List.
→ The Grand Carousel is one of the most deceiving rides ever. Round and round it goes. And so is whatever you look at afterwards.
→ Jump shots are love but are just darn tiring to do. Getting that perfect shot would entail you having to jump at least a couple of hundred times. You just eventually give up ending up with a blurry one.
→ After resting and getting some sleep, you still feel dizzy, nauseated and all that. You seem to have lost your arms and legs too.
And even after all these, you know you had sooo much fun you are still willing to go back. Just because. ^^;
Halfway through my 9-day vaca! Almost 5 days fairly spent with friends and some much needed sleep. And really, it's been a long time since I've slept this much. Oh. ♥
Now, off to go and take care of the bills and some other errands. There's still sooo much stuff to do. Non-work, that is. ^^
