letsee favourite series off the top of my head, I love One Piece, am terribly biased to Shaman King though I'll admit it's terrible sometimes, Honey & Clover, Nodame Cantabile, Ace Attorney. I like fun things usually shounen but um, I think Monster is frigging amazing. I can over look a lulzy plot if I love the characters, but once the canon goes into never ending battles it loses me (I have been spoiled by Op, Fairy Tail and Gintama which don't drag) sob I am one of the handful of people who loved the Daily Arc of Reborn. I never really thought about meta humour being a selling point for me, but haha I just remember I grew up on Mahoujin Guruguru which the characters (hero and mage class of course) went around literially opening up treasure boxes and going on mini quests XD sob tl;dr
and I like video games! I'm just not very likely to finish anything unless it's short or on the DS :( I actually do like RPGs but yes they're long (I made it through 90% of P3 and P4 before I forgot about it and don't feel like picking it up again) I wish I played another FF besides FFX
