I am a bit (A WHOLE LOT) under the weather and spent all day eating crackers on the couch and doing comfort things like reading traumatizing spn fic that was emotionally cathartic and also really shmoopy fic that made me smile into a pillow. The following recs are pretty much entirely opposite in tone and content. I love them both kind of desperately.
That Hellbound Train by mirabella, 10.7k: Suicides go to Hell. It's something to think about.
I haven't read anything else by her yet but this is such an excellent post-s3, really violent terrible look at Sam trying to get Dean back from Hell. Oh my god, the feelings. It really took me back and the writing is excellent and just, the character voices, all of them.
The Picture of Health by oddishly, 1.3k: No man nor beast nor ghouly thing has ever shown Dean Winchester the inside of a bubblebath before.
This is Sam coercing Dean into a bath. It is funny and pleasing to the heart, and comes with a very excellent, somehow quickly done arting by ordinaryink here. Thank youuuu!
