THAT WAS TOTALLY A VALENTINES SLINKY. I really think they did that to appease viewers. Like, "in which we establish dean's innocent, happy, heart's desire is a rainbow slinky, and, when dean's moved on from it, assuming it a loss, sam gives it to him."

How is this the most adorable thing to be existing in the entire history of adorable things? HOW is kissing over a corpse ADORABLE? WTF is SPN doing to us that I find this fucking adorable?!? Sam was expecting a HUMAN HEART carved RIGHT OUT OF ITS BODY and still FRESH (err) as a valentine's gift! What has SPN done to me that not only was I expecting it as well, but I was HOPING for it? And I'm hoping for Dean to continue offering Sam hearts in all the valentine episodes and I'm terribly sad that he didn't do it last episode and chances are looking really slim for the next episode. :(

I think that was supposed to be a standin for the heart dean always offers him, and i was just so heartwarmed that they both thought to get each other something, and how did sam know about the slinky other than dean coming back to the motel and rambling about it and then sam GOES TO THE PLACE. BREAKS IN. AND STEALS THE SLINKY. AFTER BEING ATTACKED BY CLOWNS? OR BEFORE? IDK. IN ANY CASE.
