(no subject)
Firstly a big happy 18th birthday to my dear pal Tash sass_le_fay for yesterday (the 22nd of January). I made a few horrible Little Jamie icons for you but shall not post them, due to their crapness. Hopefully you get the point that I tried and was thinking about you on your spesh day!
There have been a huge bushfire around my area of the Latorbe Valley in the last few days. It's still going and I know people that are in very high danger of losing their homes because of this. It really sucks, the whole area is very subdued. In my town (Traralgon) it has been smokey and hazy all day because of the bushfire. They think it was delibrately lit. How could you live with the guilt of knowing you did something like this? Let's hope it doesn't destroy any more homes.
Yesterday was way too hot. It was like 40 degrees or something! Ridiculous! I pretty much spent the whole day in front of the fan watching tennis in the dark (all the blinds in our house were shut, you know how you do that to keep the sun out?).
It was a pity to see Andy Roddick lose. I was really hoping for a Roddick-Federer final :( Oh well, it's Federer all the way hopefully! With the women- i'm hoping for a Clijsters-Sharapova final. If that occurs, don't really mind who takes the crown!
I really love watching the tennis! One of the highlights of summer :)
Tomorrow I go down to Melbourne (Caulfield specifically) to enrol at Monash (Yippee!). Should be a nice day!
