it's ranting time!
... It's 3 a.m. and I'm going to write why Mankin manga pwns Mankin anime (possible spoilers below, but I'll try not to spoil anything significant, sine it's actually aimed for kirbycat89 :3)
Let's start with Horohoro... And his real name, which he never get to know in the anime. And thus, they took away his dark past. How can one of the main characters not have a dark past? Geez...
Speaking of characters, there's a bunch of them in the manga that never appeared in the anime/was there in one scene, but you wouldn't even notice them if you didn't read the manga. Like... Redseb and Seyram. Come on, they're really important to the plot! Oh, wait - anime doesn't care about the plot >_>;; The next ones are Sati and the Gandhara. Dunno if the creators of anime hadn't noticed that or something, but... They're important, too.
Osorezan Revoir. "Too dark and misterious"? So it's better not to explain the circumstances of Yoh and Anna's first meeting? D:
Jeanne's Iron Maiden. What. the. hell. are. those. plants. doing. there.
Chocolove's past. I smell censorship.
All the important battles are taking place outside the tournament. WTF?
Anime = no deaths. (Okay, maybe it should be considered a good thing, but. This. is. MANKIN.)
Patch tribe. We don't even get to know half of them. And speaking of Patches... "My brother died because of you." Yeah, SURE. It's totally not like "You killed him without a second thought." Of course not, Nichrom, my dear~ >_>;;
Yoh is SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME when he fights Hao in the finale, while the other are a beautiful addition to the background~ OH JOY.
Over Souls. Especially those of team THE REN. If that's what Chou.Senjiryakketsu looks like, then I wish they hadn't learned it.
They made X-LAWS look like total assholes D:
I could go on like that for several more hours, but it's 4 a.m. right now, so I do realize I'm not even making any sense XDD;;
AHEM. Other than that, I've been scanning/translating/editing a HoroRen doujinshi, "Cosmic Honey" by Nowmiso Tsuru-Tsuru!/Azuma Shin. It would be way easier if I actually knew Japanese, though. I'll let you know when I'm finished so you can read it and thus I'll be spreading the HoroRen love around the world~ >D
And, last but not least, Code Geass. I CANNOT DOWNLOAD EPISODE 25 DUE TO THE LACK OF DISC SPACE D: Whyyyy--- TT^TT
