Author (of seven novels) and auteur, he hung himself in large part due to the fallout from his last published, anarchoqueer novel, part terror plot and whole love story, Tim+Pete. I loved Tim & Pete and quite liked Testosterone (not the movie though- shudder). 10 years since his sad death? RIP :(

I didn't know he was dead - I thought he just wasn't writing. That's too bad. He was a great writer.
