Awww, thank you for the rec! I haven't read that story in AGES, so I just went back and did so? And omg, comics are MEAN to Tim! I'd forgotten just how desperate I was for the people who loved him to put him back together.
Before I really delved into canon, I formed love for Bart through Jube's crackfic and derryderrydown's Growing Up Too Fast. I don't ship Bart/Kon, but this story still makes me happy. I have a very definite sense-memory of the first time I read it, perched on a futon during the hottest part of the day with the air conditioner on and just being enthralled by what was going on, even though I only knew the basics of the DCU at that point.

One Bart story I love is Te and Weirdnessmagnet's "And Sometimes Discerned"; I have this icon because I couldn't have the OT3 shield she and Weirdnessmagnet created. It's an OT3 story that's just centered on Bart in the most wonderful way. And also hot as with fire. :)
