Dude, yes.

(Since I've been so happy in comics fandom? I don't even have GRR-ish icons any longer, save for this one!)

I can't even, Gloss.

is it bad that i started thinking "they're going to let tim go apeshit over this, right?"?

...yeah, I can't. Just. Nope.

It's not bad to think that (emo-porn as the only balm?). But I don't think they care enough to have it resonate for Tim. UNLESS BEECHEN HAS A HEART.

Editorial's collective hard-on for (what they think is) the Silver Age (and the concomitant hate for all things Young Justice*) is helping to kill DC's readership. Right now, that's the only thing that makes me remotely happy.

Yeah, but it's really frustrating. One of the Big Two is disappearing up its own fundament, re The Curse of Alex Ross, and the other is embracing a brand new quasifascist worldview.

Man, I hope not. I've been reading it as good intentions gone wrong--the government's always been dodgy and kinda evil, and Tony's always been a little funny about power, and eventually the pro-reg superheroes will realise that they can't really work around that, and the positives don't outweigh the negatives. But if it doesn't pay off by December or so, I might have to give it up.
