I kind of, um. Want to marry this fic. It's just *potent* - perfect mix of the chipper Golden Age Bucky and the darker reconned version. You've stirred it up nicely and made a lot of sense out of it.

Aww, thank you so much! I'm glad it made sense; one of the things I admire most about Brubaker's retcon is that it *can* fit into the previous canon. It's less contradiction, more elaboration, something like that.
