Via dorrie6 and musesfool, the First Lines Meme. In compiling these, I realized I haven't posted real fic since March. Oy. Also, it's worth the agony I expend on first lines; these make me smile. ( first lines from a year's worth of fic )
HEE! Somehow, I'm thinking, if people *do* do this, they'll all go for "Don't even know why you made me come," Dick says and yanks back the bedclothes. We should have a pool.
No pressure, of course, but I'd love to see what you come up with. *kiss*
"Don't even know why you made me come," Dick says and yanks back the bedclothes. "You'll just feel guilty about it tomorrow. Didn't they tell you that it doesn't count as gay until you make the other guy come?"
Roy still lies. Now Roy is lying on Dick's bed, and he knows he wants that to be the only truth that matters, but Roy started by lying to Ollie and that habit spread. Dick jams his legs into his jeans, his fingers fumbling like they hadn't just minutes before. Junkie fingers, Roy thinks. He says, "I want it to count."

(Do you know jadelennox? She is *totally* made of win. And in your fair city!)
I have much love for Bujold's Falling Free, and keep an eye out for the V. books whenever I'm browsing. You're strengthening an already Wakandan-vibranium strong resolve. :D

Gloss, the Vorkosigan books, especially the later ones, gave me my love of identity issues.

Oh, I love this - I love these two together *so much*, and you've captured their push-pull, never-be-too-serious dynamic so well.
Thanks, lovely!
