I usually top out at like 1000 words for fic. (Evidently my muses and I think in very short bursts.)

So 12,000 words sounds highly impressive. Can't wait to see. I'm just getting to know Bart and I'm pretty sure I'm already in love.

Does your writing process differ when you're writing for a fandom whose canon is on film from when you're writing one whose canon is on the page?
