family ties
My dad promised me months ago, before I even left NH that he and the shebitch were going to come to orlando for their vacation this month. The vacation is next week and I have not heard a word form him since before I left. So I called him today to find out the flight info etc. They are not coming afterall. They have decided to go to the Adirondacks instead. Someplace that they have been at least 5 times.
Then he tells me that he is sending me a halloween card with $200 in it. I dont want his fucking money. I am an adult and I am working my ass off, I don't appreciate the insinuation that I need his help. Nor do I appreciate the insinuation that I can be bought.
Jake managed to come down for a weekend even though we couldnt really afford it. My mom and Dave managed to come down for a weekend even though they couldnt really afford it. He has a paid week off from work, and plenty of money to throw around but can't be bothered to come see me.
