There's one other thing I'd been meaning to post about, but for some reason or other I'd put off. For those of you not in Mexico, or not in the education business, I'll briefly explain that our school system is divided into "zones" (geographically) and "sectors" (wider range, for administrative purposes) and every so often, one of the bigheads in either our Zone (641) or sector (18-E) will come up with a brilliant plan to kill time foster cooperation and good relations amongst schools, public and private alike.
The latest of such things was last December, when a Choir Exhibition was planned to celebrate the Christmas spirit and what not. The Spanish coordinator thought it'd be neat if the school participated, so she gave me and the music teacher (the music teacher reports to me and so I had to be in on it, do not for one second think that I have a single artistic bone in my body) two weeks to prepare a number to show. The kids we picked are indeed very talented and without their disposition we'd never have been able to pull it off. Our success was such that we've now been recruited to participate in a concert next March, along with a famous Austrian organist and a renowned tenor. So now my Saturdays are devoted to this endeavor (and then I wonder how come I don't have a life).
Here are three recordings I made from last Saturday. Bear in mind that I made this using the built-in mic in my computer so they probably don't sound that well.
This last piece we only started working that day, you will be able to tell half-way through the recording that a couple people momentarily zoned out.
Here are some pictures of our original presentation, back in December.

Tomorrow's Friday, so I've got another rehearsal to look forward to.
