Oh, it's a long story. Basically, it is because I have horrible eating habits. I've always been fairly thin and though have grown accustomed to eating or drinking whatever/whenever. But I'm not as young anymore and both sides of my family have huge weight issues. I can't continue to pretend that I'm going to escape the curse, so I figured this could be my "thing" to start off the new school year.
I'm not sure what the problem is with me, though. Last year, with all the stress of the new position and whatever, I could easily go without eating the entire shift (although I would down 2-3 cups of coffee, no sweat) but since I started this thing, I appear to be hungry ALL the time! This morning, for instance, I had two cups of coffee, three bananas, an apple, a peach and a liter and a half of water (this is also an issue, I hate plain water and therefore drink very little) and by one o'clock I simply had to run to the store and buy a bag of Cheetos because I simply couldn't get to focus on anything other than how hungry I was.
Yeah, this is going to take some major re-educating.
