i was watching the youtube symphony thing when suddenly olympicbbies:
oliver, age 8, decides that he is going to harvard. he swims and he gets good grades but when he googles it, he finds out that the more extracurriculars, the better.
so he immediately runs to evan's house and shouts that they need to join orchestra NOW, DAMMIT EVAN STOP REARRANGING YOUR SHOES
skip 9 years later and they're in youth symphony orchestra together. ollie plays the viola (fuck the violin, he doesn't go mainstream) and evan chose the cello and they try to play duets together but they keep fighting ("dude your A is so out of tune right now" "c'mere punk bitch and i'll SHOW YOU what's out of tune") and they break multiple bows dueling with each other and they tie each other's bowties before performances and ollie discovers his thing for dudes in suits
