random update
Work is slowing down a little. apparently this is the dead month before all the students get back to school with sticky keyboards from beer spillage etc. thatll be a goood month.
As of now im chillin. ive spent a lot of time alone which isnt bad necessarily. i rearranged my room again so i could use my new mac mini for recording. Its way faster and i dont need to worry about CPU overload anymore which is SWEEET.
tonight im going to go buy eyeTV for it too. my TV finally shit the bed the other day so i figured now was the time. That will conclude my geeking out on the mac mini for the time being. its nowa recording studio, a DVD player with movies saved on the hard drive, and soon to be a TV with DVR type capabilities. im so proud of the little guy. he really does do it all.
Im going to look at apartments today at 4. i guess well see what kind of studio i can get my hands on. itl be really nice to live alone especially to have more room. i currently have no room at all pretty much.
I gotta say i really do enjoy my time out on the fire escape in the morning. i think im going to make this a ritual. i have a lawn chair out here and i can listen to music with my remote and write entries like this. things noone reads through because its just me babbling. and ive really rediscovered the whole "blogging" thing. its not a social thing anymore where my friends all check my LJ or i check theirs. im just writing. i probably repeat myself a lot in here but everyday is basically the same. and im not complaining.
i like me right now. at the moment i dont think i suck. i may be frustrated with my current social situations but i know its not all my fault. im handling these new pressures as best i can and part of that is getting to know myself again. so far ive gotten as far as being able to say that i really do see myself as an interesting person to talk to. i just dont think im surrounded by all the types of people i should be. ill eventually get it figured out.
the scariest movie i know about is eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. i cant watch it. it scares the shit out of me.
well im coming to a boil in my own sweat out here so i should probably assume my laptop getting a little too hot too. i named him lappy 486 after strongbad's computer. no name for the mini yet. hes the only one without a name. theres gary, old blue, lappy 486 and whatever i name the mac mini.. any good ideas?
while you figure that out im gonna go get ready for work. my shirt is sticking to me.
