horses made of sticks

Title: horses made of sticks
Pairing: Eliot/Parker/Hardison, background Nate/Sophie
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Some violence
Summary: Eliot deals with his past, and tries to get a grip on the present.

A/N: Trust me to write a threesome fic with no actual sex in it. Sorry?

It's been more than five years since he's fired a gun, but the shape of the acrylic grips and the recoil against his palms are so familiar that it feels like coming home. )

eliot spencer, alec hardison, fic: leverage, parker

This is beautiful. I love the way you weave the past with the present to give us such a rich picture of Eliot. I love his observations of the team and of Parker and Hardison. Thank you so much for writing and posting this.

Thank you so much! I'm really glad the flashbacks worked for you, because I know that can become awkward if it's done badly :)

I really enjoyed this. I like the internal voice and raw emotion. Nice job!

This was absolutely stunning. You had such a wonderful melancholy tone in this piece, leading in from Eliot reflecting on the terrible things he's done in life, having to put up with the others being paired off and him being odd man out. The ending, though, made up for it all. Eliot/Parker/Hardison is my OT3 and you painted a stunning portrait of what their relationship could be.

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! I really do think that Eliot is the odd one out in many ways on that team--in motivations, in regrets, in what keeps him sticking around with the team. I love him with Parker and Hardison, though; I think they help him in his quest to reclaim the humanity he lost for a while.

Fan-fucking-tastic. I don't think there's any way I'll get tired of reading the fallout from the end of last season. Ever. Brilliantly done - and thank you for pointing out that having a meltdown in front of Moreau might be worse than a career ender - it's not something I'd considered at all. Food for thought...

I'm definitely with you on that one--there's going to be some amazing fallout from that finale :P

I think Eliot has a very practical approach to morality; he'd wait to have a nervous breakdown until he was in a situation where it wouldn't get him killed.

Glad you enjoyed!
