As I said in my bio, I'm not quite sure why I decided to sign up for LiveJournal, since I'm such a private person. However, I know why the idea was attractive to me. It's because LiveJournal seems to be a community, and community is what I long for. Besides, I get to decide what I want to share. Man, that's empowering.

It looks like there are others who share my interests, so this looks hopeful.
