Last night ...
Was poetry slam. i finished second, First place was one of the girls from colon and i'm so proud of her!!! From seeing her read the fisrt couple of times to a year later now she's come a lot further. The feature was KICK ASS - she writes TRUE love poetry. Mew. And she's Purdy. hehe purr. Um anyway
I won four dollars ... which went straight back to the meta - i used it to pay for the tab i had rang up during the evening lol i thought that worked out rather well. I read my being a nerd poem along with my revamped Patrick Poem (styrofoam girlfriend) i was so happy to get some laughs out of that one - especialy at the part where "i took the liberty of taking you out a personal ad from the local paper - pieced together from the things you've said to me over the years" *grin*

last night i slept for Shit. I got to bed at about 11ish and tried to go to sleep. However danny had the idea in his sweet sleeping head that the bed and all it's blankets and pillows were under his sole possesion. *sigh* between having knees and elbows in my back and shoulder and getting bopped in the head when he rolled over, AND freezing my ass off when i woke up without any covers on and three fans on ... i got maybe about three hours of sleep. Possibly four but i wouldn't bank on anymore than that. not even consecutively either. It was 15 minutes of sleep here 45 minutes later sleep for a half hour ... grrr. I was thinking about riding in with danny when he left for work and just being uber early and sleeping on the couch for a bit. But i nixed that idea when last night miquel said she'd come in with me in the morning and we'd hang out and play cards and she could watch an opening procedure. Hmmmmmm .... So i told danny to leave with out me and i'd leave with miquel. I wasn't going to make danny wait because i was completely not ready anyway i had Just gotten dressed. I woke up miquel and she squeaked something at me about only getting three hours of sleep cuz she didn't go to bed till 3 am. So i walked. And i'm tired. And i work at the bookstore as well. Hoo - Ray
