Yuletide Recs
I have slowly been making my way through the Yuletide archive, and here's what I've read so far. First, a shout out to the anon writer who gifted me with Golden Girls fic!

Yup, does what it says on the tin. This is cracky crossover, but it works.
The Revelation of John (2609 words) by Anonymous
Fandom: Bible (New Testament)
Characters: John the Baptist, Lucifer (Bible)
Summary: Presented as an apocryphal book of the New Testament: John goes into the desert for a revelation, and is visited by an old acquaintance.
I was enthralled by this from beginning to end. I am such a sucker for a good Lucifer characterization.
There's No Place Like (1216 words) by Anonymous
Fandom: Magnum P.I. (1980)
Characters: Jonathan Quayle Higgins III, Thomas Sullivan Magnum IV
Summary: It's just after the Gulf War, and a sailor breezes back into Higgins life, but he knows there's more than smooth sailing at work.
Magnum was one of the fandoms that I had requested, so I was happy that at least one story made it in this year. This fic captures the "all that is left unspoken" dynamic between Higgins and Thomas quite well.
Pugs With Michael Fassbender, or, The Importance of Perspective (1591 words) by Anonymous

Summary:One of them wants to know the nature of truth itself. The other one wants to know where his shirt is.
Ok, I started laughing just reading the character list, and I didn't stop all the way through this fic. Utterly hilarious, in a Tumblr meta meets existentialism sort of way.

Summary: Alice reflects on her situation
Also one of the fandoms I requested. This is an intriguing look into the inner workings of Alice's mind.

Characters: Jake Lonergan, Woodrow Dolarhyde, John Taggart
Summary: Even with his memories back, Jake still has nowhere to go.
