So, the Doctor's daughter. Perky, very perky. I hate perky. Don't judge me. And Donna continues to be amazing. Marry me Donna, you have lovely pre-Raphaelite hair and an amazing cleavage...
What have I been doing with myself? Working mainly. Its horrible. And i've decided that i'm going to be a supply teacher next year instead of getting a permanent class which has taken a lot of pressure of. The prospect of teaching no longer makes me need to breathe into a paper bag and have a sit-down. Hallelujah.

I LOVED it. The animation was striking and effective and the storyline was far more gripping and varied than I expected (It wasn't a diatribe against Iran as i'd feared), although the balance between tragedy and comedy was sometimes uneasy. It was also fairly blunt and honest for something auto-biographical, with the main character endearing even whilst she was flawed, stubborn and selfish.
There is still a distinct lack of confirmation of Torchwood series 3, although all parties involved seem to feel that we will get TW in some form - just a bit DIFFERENT from what we're used to. Needless to say, all I demand is boy-kissing and plenty of Ianto - my needs are simple and shallow.
I've recently been devouring The Tudors, which makes me exceedingly happy. Yes, sometimes it does bafflingly inaccurate things (Henry's sisters: merged into one) but I find if you have a large enough glass of wine then you can sit back and enjoy the political intrigue, the filthy sex and general incompetence that makes the TW crew look efficient.
At the other end of the scale, i've also been watching Greek, which is about the fraternities and soroties at a fake American university. Its really, really fluffy and oddly compelling and I watched 12 episodes in 24 hours. Addictive doesn't even begin to cover it. And yes, I have no life, I think that goes without saying.
