Busy, busy, busy

After a fun filled month with lots of working overtime due to a system full of bugs I think now we're getting where we want to be. Everything seems to be stable and the system is running without error for 4 days now...let's hope it lasts.

Last weekend was great; Two days of training at the Easter Aikido Seminar in Vincennes was exactly what I needed after not having had the chance to train for a month...
Yesterday had lunch at my French teachers' place, she had invited all of her students over for a typical French Sunday déjeuner. I really liked it. The entire afternoon was spent eating, drinking and chatting with the people that were there . By the time I got home I was knackered. 8 hours of speaking and listening French is something I'm definitely not used to, even though I've lived in France for over a year now. It was nice to meet some of the other students that my teacher has and to hear for a bit how they go about there daily affairs here in Paris.

The coming weeks will be comfortably short. This week Labour Day ensures a Friday off, next week Liberation Day in France, so again I have the Friday off and the weekend after that my little sister is coming over and again I have the Friday off...Life in France is not bad at all.
