As Of Yesterday
So I was invited to senior ball by this one girl who I don't want to go with, I told her that I don't know if I'm going or not b/c I didn't really want to tell her no, you know? I tell Angela about it and she asks if I'm gonna go with her, I told her it depends on whether or not my previous plans are going to follow through or not. Then she proceeds to say that she doesn't like this girl and I ask her why. (huge mistake btw)She says it's because she "just doesn't" and I ask her to dive a little deeper than that. She finally settles with "because she's stupid". Now that may be mean, but apparently, I'm not allowed to think that. But in my infinite stupidity I say "That's just being judgmental". That caused her to not talk to me, I asked her why she was upset with me, and she said "umm, I don't really know" then decided she was going to leave without any regards towards me at all. And this is all after she told me to go with someone, so I was trying to go with someone who I had no real personal connection with at all so Angela wouldn't feel threatened in any way at all; because I know I'd be angry if she went to a dance with a guy she was really close with who wasn't me. Anyway, this is where it gets even better. So I woke up this morning after processing some things while I slept, and decided that I wasn't going to go with her after all, and there's no reason to keep Angela uninvolved in the decision, she is my girlfriend after all, she should have input. So when I thought she wouldn't be busy or asleep I sent her a text message telling her I wasn't going with this other girl. That was at approximately 11:11 a.m., well, its now 10:11 p.m. and I still haven't gotten a response yet. Thats just tactless, I've never purposefully not responded to a message from her, or not called her back before. Never. Then at around 5 p.m. I sent her another text completely unrelated to any date matters and I still haven't gotten a response, or a phone call acknowledging either attempts to contact her. This is ridiculous. The last thing I want to deal with right now are these problems, I shouldn't be faulted for not wanting to go to my senior ball alone, or with another guy. I just went back and changed the time i finished.
