end of the semester update
I'm so bored! I'm sitting here in the box office during the theatre portfolio review. We are selling dance tickets, but no one's buying yet. I still have an hour and a half left to go before I can leave, so I figure I'd update since I haven't done so in quite a while.
Things here have been rather busy. Since Jason is graduating, he's been very busy finishing up his school work and getting ready to apply for jobs. He had two concerts this past weekend, both of which were very cool, and his stuff was awesome. I'm so proud! :) I also have to apply for jobs now that my classes are over. I hope I can get a decent job. Hell I hope I can get any job really. Gotta pay that rent....
We are very busy this week with end of the semester parties and such. On Thursday we may be going to our friend's graduation dinner. On Friday is graduation and we will be doing something special for that. On Saturday is our friend's birthday party so we'll be going to his house to celebrate and then to a gay leather bar afterwards. Sunday we are having all of our roommates from last year (except for Dave, who is lame) over for dinner and to watch Black Sheep. Then on Monday I fly to North Carolina for a week to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday.
I'm quite excited about my mom's birthday. The whole thing is a surprise, she doesn't even know I'm coming. Then we are throwing her a big party with a bunch of people, and there will be catered barbecue and a live band and I'm going to make the cake. We're going to need a lot of cake, so I'm gonna make a cupcake tree and do a small cake on top for mom.
When I get back its back to reality though and I will have to find a job fast. Hopefully we will also have more time to focus on D/s because thats kind of been put on the back burner recently with everyone's end of the year crap to deal with. I also need to work on my thesis!
As far as miscellaneous things, I have to return my hard drive. Its been kind of a pain 'cause its past the 30 day return policy but it seems like amazon will give me a refund on it. Also, I got my hair cut shorter yesterday. It is now chin length, and looks pretty cute. I wish it would stay straight though. Having to straighten it is such a pain. Next time I go in she's gonna give me something different though and we'll be changing my hair color to dark brown with purple highlights. I'm quite excited about it.
