Awake too early
Our washing machine broke down the other week, and our new one was delivered at the rather anti-social time of 7.30am today. At least I'm awake now and not being lazy anyway.
After my course thingy on Wednesday I went to the pub, I was a bit brain dead so didn't stay too long before driving home.
On Thursday for some reason my car wouldn't start, despite having been fine the day before. I rushed back to the house and failed to find any taxi company that had a taxi free, then decided I was going to have to walk or get the bus. This was to the school where I'm working full time after xmas, they were quite understanding luckily and I got there in time to register the children.
A nice Rac man fixed my car, he said that the engine had flooded and reassuring things like "it's very unlikely to happen again." I'm glad I paid a bit more for breakdown cover from home, hopefully won't need to use it again!

k_e_h has a spare room at her place in Dunkirk if anyone needs a room or knows someone who does. I don't know all of the details but it's got two bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and erm furniture ... Ask k_e_h (Kate)for more details!
I'm meeting Kate in town soon and going for lunch, might head to the Whitehart later as I've not been in a while. Tomorrow I;m going to Birmingham for the day to meet Jenny for more lunch and shopping.
