I came damn close to getting her completely under my charms during a lucky encounter when she was causing trouble in Axoryi, so if we were to catch her by surprise again, I could easily... Hrm, a lot of possibilities...

Trying to neturalize a villainous threat and apply them to a positive purpose doesn't seem, at all, like abuse to me.

No matter WHAT the reasoning behind it, we do not use magic to strip free will from an individual. I would have thought you, of all people, would appreciate that. Did your realization upon earning your freedom from Myey teach you nothing?

Free will is a blessing and a curse from the gods, no matter WHICH Pantheon you happen to follow. There is no excuse, no justification for stripping it from an individual. Whether or not you have good intentions, it is still manipulation of the most sacred right of life, still a form of slavery. Reformation through mind control means nothing as it was not the person's choice!
We do not do that in M.A.G.I., ever. Consider this formal notice of that fact. I am not going to discipline you, as it's been natural to you for so long... But I am not happy with this, and it will not be allowed.

As a human, I had one pursuit: Arcane power and knowledge. That's still primarily true now. I want to learn the world. But this nature comes with... Side effects.

You'll note, I brought this up in the discussion about the Other Mother entity. Beings of different natures, different makeups as normal humans often have different needs, desires, cravings...
I am not unaware of the difference between you and a human.
But I am aware that you're a clever, intelligent woman. You can get what you need without taking such steps.

When not under a superior's influence, we tend to have multiple-mile-long dominant streaks. When you have an overriding obsession, you tend not to notice it, but... It still sort of leaks out sometimes.
Such as how, when I get pissed at someone, the first solution that pops into my head is "screw with their head until they're no longer bothersome"... Or how Pid, with no special influence for or against it, immediately went to trying to dominate as many people as possible.
It's a little different with her now, because her current primary obsession is not being that... But it's very hard for her, and will likely only get harder. I'm... Less different from that than I'd care to admit, really.

All of this is very useful information to have. It may be presumptuous of me, but if all else fails, just remember. I didn't get this job because I was the first to apply for it. Kat's in charge for a reason, after all. :) I can and will kick that dominant streak out of you if you need me to.
