The great rains today opened up leaks in our (just over one year old) roof. The roofers, last time, blamed this on the heater. I blame it on shoddy roofing.
Roofer #2 is coming by on Monday. Should he suggest that the leaks are not fixable (because it's raining in through the heater) I will stop eating out and buying train tickets and instead will start saving $9-10,000 for the privilege of having a heater installed on my roof.
I am pissed off about this. Mostly because it shouldn't cost that much to have a heater installed on the roof (IMO) but also because I feel taken advantage of. The roofers could've guessed that that was causing the leaks in the first place before saying that the only option was a new roof. Yes, a new roof would have been necessary soon regardless, but...Well. I think I just need to be pissed at someone and they suck so they're the easiest target.
