I have this intensely weird feeling like somehow, racebending.com will be blamed for any faults of this film. Am I just getting a jaded? I guess time will tell. :/

What do you mean by faults - you mean that if it tanks, people will put it down to racebending.com? Or do you mean faults as in the massive fail in the film itself? Because ... no.

I can see people blaming the protesters if the movie isn't successful, because that's how people are. It's always the ones who don't sit and take it who get blamed, never mind that they were the ones who got kicked in the face to begin with.

But idk, I'll personally salute you either way.

LOL I HAS CONFUSING

This, right here. There's apparently already pro-casters saying the critics reviews that slam TLA - from HuffPo, RogerEbert.com, newspaper sites, etc - are all an 'insider plot' created racebending.com organizers. Like what??! On one hand I'm kinda surprised they think we have THAT much power over...well anyone. On the other...what??!?!

Well fandom is crazy! The pro-casters are a small subset of even crazier, privileged and arrogant about it people who probably have a lot of time on their hands, like that one troll.

But I think stuff like this speaks for itself:

Actually, I'd HOPED people could chalk up the failure of TLA to the protest, because that would probably entail the studio taking our concerns seriously, and it having dramatic effect on their casting decisions in the future!

I kind of doubt this will end up being the case, though. Either the protest will be blamed not as a legitimate protest but as some sort of insanely powerful bullying organization (which is a bit of a turnabout from the "very small group" or "few pathetic individuals" who "won't make a difference" that we were made out to be before, but anyway-) OR... well, however Paramount decides to spin the cause of failure of this film, I guess ( ... )
