AZKATRAZ
Okay, so I'm back in the new year to concentrate on getting things organized for Azkatraz Art Activites (also known as Triple A! ...oh wait.) Aside from activities, I also really want to do a couple panels/workshops. HELP ME FIGURE STUFF OUT, PLEASE.

IT ATE MY COMMENT. *grumbles* I'll try again.

I'm from SK... lollllll

LIVE!
I think this is a great idea - I love seeing how other people approach their drawings, and I like seeing little tricks or techniques that I can pick up from watching them. My only suggestion is music to be played during this time, or maybe questions could be asked (if that's not too distracting for the artist).

WORKSHOP
I love workshops! I think that it'd be neat to take a character (like Snape, for example) and use them for the workshop. It might be cool to do just a purely technical workshop where you talk about anatomy or the differences between drawing femmes/males, or how to work compostition, or expressions. But that's not for everyone, and I don't know if you want to lead something like that? It might be cool to lead a workshop where you talk about things like how a charactertization can influence body language, or how a character reacts with scenery/setting/other characters/props, clothing/costume, or how to draw something other than portraiture or characters standing there (storytelling!). Do any of these things appeal?

PRAWN!
Sounds good to me! I especially like the 'pornography or art?' question because that's something that causes a lot of confusion. That would be a good topic to start out with, maybe. Or end with, depending on the other subjects discussed.

PPP-F!
All of the questions listed above are great. I think it would make a better lecture/presentation followed by Q&A or open floor, more than it would as an open floor discussion. I'd be interested in going to see it, but I'm not going, so. ^^; 'How important is fanart' is a terrifying and very good question, indeed. Especially when one considers the number of fanauthors to fanartists.

POLL
I liked the ideas in the poll! I don't know what 'pictionidditch' is, but something we do sometimes when there was a bunch of artists together, or if it's a slow day in the Art department, is do collab drawings. Nothing serious and moving - just silly little scribbles on printer paper between classes and stuff. Like, someone would draw something and leave it, and then someone else would add onto it or start a sheet of their own. Stuff like that. It's fun and anyone can do it. :)

Curse you LJ!!! *shakes fist*

LIVE! - I like the idea of questions! In fact, it coule be fun to have the other two artists answer questions or talk about art or something, while one artist is drawing?

WORKSHOP - I'm very much more about characterization/storytelling than I ma about technical stuff, but. I am soooo gonna try and wrangle someone like ani_bester to help out with this. I think she'll be a great asset. XD

PPP-F - YES to having Q&A. Maybe if it's a panel, we can have a moderator asking some set questions to a few (three?) fanartists of varying levels/noteriety in the HP fandom and then open it up for broad discussions.

Oh Round Robins! That's something that'd be fun to organize, although I'll leave that to the side/informal planning. But I love those, they are ALWAYS AWESOME. XD
