While I am not sure that I count as an artist, per se, I will comment about liking what I do...

Right now what I like about what I do is that it's fairly unique.

I like taking an idea, being able to graph it out on paper, and then work it up in yarn into something that can be displayed or used. I like that my meager abilities to graph an idea have evolved from just letters 10 years ago to more pictures. Even the style of the letters has changed...

And I LOVE how the true fanartists inspire me to create more things...

You're totally a true fan artist! I totally can't knit anything besides a scarf! I love the different kinds of art people do that is fanart. I love the fact that you can change colors in the middle of a project. Seriously yarnware is amazing.

Wow, I'd never seen your work before, but you make beautiful things! It's really incredible how you can graph something and then actually figure out how to make it work in knitting and crochetting. Knowing only a tiny bit about how yarnwork is done, I can't even imagine how you do it! It's so cool!

EEE you are TOTALLY an artist. I can't knit to save my life and I ALWAYS admire how people can create practical, warm, loveable art from, well. Some yarn and sticks, like. WTF. It's amazing how your mind works, I have no idea how, but I thinks it's GORGEOUS and fantastically executed and I'm SO HAPPY that HP has given you a way to express your artistry through craft. *MWAH*

You DEFINITELY count as an artist, only you work in a different medium.

You're able to create so much with yarn and the best part is you can wear it (or I guess drape it over something if it's a blanket) and show it off.

Depends on what I'm making, I suppose...because you CAN wear the hats, wristwarmers, and scarves. And the blankets ARE warm, I admit. :D
