ART: the sketch stuff
Overwhelmed by the incredible curiousty and demands of multitudes (AKA two or three mildly interested really nice close friends) to see my practice drawings , I thought I'd waste all of our time and post 'em here. Don't worry -- there's some HP art at the end. I promise!
WARNING: This post is VERY image-heavy. Dial-up babies be warned.
I begin thinking I could try perspective...
And of course I fail.
After much crying, I flip over the page and comfort myself with ORIGINAL CHARACTERS *evil laughter*
Belonging to to my sister and me. I feel no shame adding a Photoshop tint to them cuz they don't really count as sketchbook material.
Now let's head over to the White City!
A very ugly...tipping over...kinda boring White City. Boromir would be so proud. And by 'proud' I mean 'kill me dead'.
Time for the good stuff -- CUTESY ART OF MY BEST FRIEND AND HER BF *more evil laughter*
And she loved it. So why have I still not given it to her yet? Because I have no ability to remember things, dammit!
Finally something kinda decent. Cars, yay! Thanks to the all-reference-providing chootoy. Bless!
So inspired was I by cars, that I drew dim sum. Well okay, maybe I just got hungry. That cat would be so tasty in a light stew gravy. *licks chops*
Now the artsy crap. Oooh, lookit me, I'm so deep and introspective. If you're thinking "What the hell is she on about", I'm with you too. What the hell am I on about? I was watching New York Minute while I drew this, fer chrissakes.
And finally, penises and boobies - but it's art! So it's okay.
It was fun to do life drawings though. And I didn't even need to pay $12 a pop or sit on an uncomfortable stool!
