Do they give you one of those pen to check and see if the bill is fake? I'm sure being blatantly obvios about using that any any bill over a ten would stop the fakes, also do you ever say "I see you over there miss" I would but I'm just evil that way. I love to see people jump as to the third world toilet, that's something that you should complain about over manager's head. that she can't keep her bathrooms clean, that's the janitors job and she can't keep janitors, then she's a screw up as a manager and who ever is above her needs to know that.

But I just hope you get on where there is a better working environment

*sympathy*

It's not biased, it's realistic to know when a behavior originates within a culture. Those of us who were not raised with this mentality tend to find it rude and boorish. It's the same thing as saying that Lutherans from Minnesota tend to be terse, but polite.

I saw the same behavior over and over when I lived in NYC. It's not as if you are dissing a subset - Like a religion. If a person is from or has close childhood ties to the Middle East (it doesn't matter whether they are Jewish, Muslim, Christian, secular, whatever...), they tend to engage in barter behavior. They don't have any reason to drop the behavior when they live in enclaves. Being behind them in any store line used to drive me crazy when I lived in NYC.

I don't understand how you've lasted this long there. It sounds like a truly horrible place to work.

That is horrible! I know how you feel about rude customers, I used to work in McDonald's that was next to a ghetto neighborhood, a cheap motel, and an elementary school; so imagine what kind of customers we got! I know what you really mean when you talk about the middle eastern customers, it was the same way with the African American customers at Mcdonald's-I know not all of them are like this but some of them were the ones that complained the most and the loudest. For example: We had one lady that approached one of the crew members with her small fries and yelled "what's this?" because she felt like she didn't get enough fries. We have rules about the amount we put in, small fries are supposed to be 2 ounces and medium fries are 4-5 oz. Anyways, as employees of McDonald's, even if a customer spit in our face, we're supposed to remain calm and try to help the customer the best we can. Although some of us didn't. My ex-friend who also worked there used to talk back to the customers, which we're not supposed to do, but she had a friend ( ... )
