Leverage, anyone?
Anyone else on my f-list hooked on "Leverage," the show starring Timothy Hutton? It's one of the, if not THE, best written shows on television. If I had 10% of the talent those writers have, I'd be a happy gal. The twists and turns in each episode are awesome, the casting is perfect, and they have cool guest stars like Kevin Tighe. It can't be beat!
The finale made me laugh when Parker (we don't know her first name) was *sniffing* Nate Ford's ex-wife. It seems that, after her hotly smooching Alec Hartisan in a previous ep, Ms. Parker swings both ways. I thought that was pretty cool she's openly bi. I did love the end of the finale, though, when she looks at Hartisan and says, "Find me." That was *hawt*! I think they'd make an awesome couple. All three guys on that show are eye-candy for me, especially Elliot. (I do wish Nate Ford would comb his hair, however.)
What's coolest of all to Timothy Hutton fans like myself? He's bringing in people he's worked with from his previous series, like Kari Matchett. The show's been picked up for a second season, they're filming now (much of the finale was filmed over at The Huntington in nearby San Marino), and new eps will supposedly be airing in June.
Between "Leverage" and more "True Blood," I'm looking forward to summer.
