First things first, and that'd be gettin' up there. Serenity or her shuttles won't fly here, so unless you've got one somewhere that does, reckon that only leaves us the transports they're using to take people up. Could fib we wanna be taken home to get onboard. Or just go in guns blazin'. Whichever comes first.

There's no reason to get trigger happy before we even get up there. That'll just give them reason to attack. A... friend of mine was just trying to get someone out of line to be taken up and they all swarmed him. The last thing we need is to be stuck up there, where we're outnumbered and they're pissed off.

I say we get onboard, even though it might be a pain in the ass if we're carrying firepower.

That was kinda my point. They're gonna see we're lugging around an awful lot of gunmetal and, if they're as smart as everyone says, they're gonna know we ain't here to admire the scenery. Ain't they likely to attack, anyhow? Unless... could ask if Jayne or Inara has any flash bombs. Handy things, they throw a stunning ray outward and makes everything it touches go beddy bye bye for a while. Don't know if they work on these fellas, though.

Maybe they'll think it's sentimental to us and we're taking them home.

They're hostile, trust me. But if you go along peacefully, I think we might stand a better chance, at least until everyone else is off one of their little shuttles and we take care of the mess ourselves.

As far as these flash bombs go... what if they touch us?

I don't see us havin' an excess of choices, then. So, we go along actin' the docile little sheep that we are. Gamble with the chance of gettin' stripped of any guns, and overpower them once we're airborne. That is, hoping we have larger numbers than they. That more or less what you had in mind?

You don't want them to do that. You'll be asleep in seconds. Scratch that idea, it's too risky.

Why don't you try it? While they're stuck pointing and laughing we could all slip in and get the job done.

More or less. They're more than a threat, and they're strong as hell and it's hard to get a shot in on them, but I'm pretty sure it can be done. I can't imagine they'd put their entire force in one cruiser. Maybe a pilot and some guards. If we can take the guards out first, the pilot shouldn't be a problem.

Then we stick with guns and hand-to-hand, even though they're wearing some kind of goddamn armor. I'm tempted to go get a monster from the Underground and bring it with us, since they seem to hate them so damn much.

Hell, I'm willing to go with that. So with that taken care of, what's next? You obviously wanna go get your friend, understandably. How's about splittin' up? How many people are in your group, anyhow? You and yours handle your friend and the others that were taken while me and my crew take a peek at the bridge? Can get River to fly the thing. Get ourselves that hostage while we're at it.

Armor won't do them much good if you put a shot through the throat or between the eyes.

There's only three of us, and one of them is a kid. I'm not making her go up there, but if she can hack into the system somehow... but I don't think that's possible. I'm not letting her go up there. She doesn't understand what it means to kill or be killed. That just leaves me and my partner. I can get Kitty out by myself, but... I won't lie. Back up would help.

They're... it's like they're made of armor.

....Understood. Alright, there's four of us, and I'm not gonna be leavin' Inara or River. Jayne could go with ya and your partner for back-up, though. You want anyone watchin' your back, it's him. He'll listen to what you say just fine long as he gets to shoot plenty of things. Meanwhile, River, me and Inara could take the bridge. Of course, this whole splittin' up scenario depends on how much of those things are up there.

Don't mean they can't be beaten. Just that it's a bit trickier.

He can shoot whatever the hell he wants as long as it's not me. I don't know how many are up there. I can't even begin to imagine how many are up there, but... take out only what we can, I guess. But keep one alive. We'll try to get Kitty without causing too much of a problem. Believe it or not I can be quiet when I want to.
