Dear Summer,
I'd like to thank you for coming into my life. It was great the way you came along on Thursday and hung out with Paula, Drew, Christie and myself at Thetis Lake. We got along great, except that you were playing with the warm and cold currents in the lake, and I thought that was awfully cheeky.
Friday was a bit more of an intimate experience; I seem to recall your rays seducing my skin and mind while I was attempting to do homework. But once again, I felt touched in a way that I haven't felt in a long time. Even your cool kisses at night were well recieved, sitting out back and just hanging out.
I'm sorry I ditched you today and yesterday, but I had no choice, I was working. You will be glad to know that other people are enjoying your warm spirit as much as I am. I promise we will spend some more quality time with each other soon.
I hope you don't go away, because I feel sad and cold without you. You make me feel like no one else.
