Zunkun did good. She was solid. I don't like the character, but I think she did it justice. She didn't copy Kaname like I feel she could have, well either that or she didn't try. She handled the songs and the acting decently enough. I wish I liked her style more. She also was kinda swimming in Kaname's frock coats, but largely it worked. If you aren't hyperaware about costumes you probably wouldn't have noticed.

Urara was... Well... Uhhh. Let's just say that Urara /can/ sing, however she cannot sing in Mirion's range. I think she hit a few right notes in between her voice breaking as she reached for those high notes. But she did a decent job with a boring character. I wonder how weird it must be to play opposite your own character for shinko.

Rui Makise was super fantastic. I think Maa-kun is going to go home and dream about doing those songs as well as this baby did them. She also was super stunning in Maa-Kuns costume. Which make me happy. She also had tons of people at demachi, which I know I shouldn't find surprising as I know one of her (soon to be) staff in Tokyo.

Kazuki-Motherfucking-Sora has reached a whole new level of attractive. Like, Kitarou obviously have her makeup tips, and damn. *low whistle* damn. She blew away the songs and the acting. For all interested, she used Kitarou' frock coats, but has different trousers. Which most of the time worked, because Sora carries herself well, but sometimes you can tell. During one scene she turns around to climb up a stair and her tailcoat is comically low. Other than that it was solid. Her and Zunkun didn't have as much chemistry as Kitarou and Kaname, but eh, honestly didn't expect it.

The musumeyaku with Chitose's role needs brow-shaping 101. Like, woman has crazy eyebrows. (Checked the wiki, her name is Ayaka Mari)

Rukaze Hikaru gets my 'baby to watch vote'. She had Kai-chan's role and used a slightly different style and I liked it. She also has more faith in her voice than Kai-chan does, so it sounded better. She's super attractive, and even though her stage photo in the program is unfortunate I'll probably scan it later tonight and update the wiki. Def keep your eye on her, my Soragumi baby watchers.

Haruse Ouki gets points for being super duper attractive, which is not my normal default reaction to her. She did well with her like five lines of song. She looks super fantastic with the long hair and frock coats.

Asao Ren had Riku's and Fuuma's role. I want to say she got different costumes, which would make sense. A dark purple velvet and a lavender suit, and then standard brocade with military medals, but I honestly hadn't paid much attention. Her round head is surprisingly suited to mustaches, and she has a very pleasant voice. She got bumped up in all the military scenes so she had different choreography for the boat number, and I'm sure that played hell with her head.

Speaking of which, the poor baby's on the end were struggling so hard last night with that. It's a lot of jumping and spinning and they were riding the struggle bus with their nerves.

Rumi Jun is leaving and it makes me sad, because I like her style. I wish I would have noticed her earlier.

Hanayuki Rira was a gorgeous nobody and I enjoyed watching her during the scene where the court is gossiping. She reminds me so much of Alice it's still suprising to me. I wish she could get out of the shadows a bit and shine.

Oh and they put musumeyaku in military outfits to fill out a lot of the scenes. It's super funny because they are obviously just NOT otokoyaku. Pink makeup, adorable baby girl faces and are short.

Oh and it was revenge of every bad wig ever. Like, they dug around trying to find the worst ones for some of these kids. It is the worst offender I've seen so far.
