Just a quick post, for I woke up four hours earlier than usual in order to write two essays for school.
So much to do in the next 15 hours before hopping in a school van with four awesome people from the music department and heading off to Reno for an intercollegiate honor band. I'm hoping I'll be able to get some sleep on the 12 hour drive, since we're driving all night before arriving for seating placement auditions. Thanks to procrastinating two essays, I got very little sleep last night.
I'm looking forward to going. Leaving town for a few days. Spending my days playing lots of music. I'm hoping that spending some quality time in the world of music will help make me feel a little less alone, a little less lost.
