I'm just a box in a cage.

Gekas and Karen's visit was...amazing. And more than a little needed. My whole life is on a weird spin cycle lately and there was nothing in life I needed more than some time spent with genuinely close friends. We laughed...a lot. We didn't cry, but that's fine. I'm sure we were capable. Especially on the questionable ferris wheel. We ran around Bremen like tourists, we had lovely dinners both out and in, and most importantly, we experienced the AMAZINGNESS that is the Christmas market. It makes me all the more excited to see other Dickinsonians for New Years, and for the time I'll spend travelling this spring! Thus, Karen/Gekas/Lacey-Fest 2006 necessitates an ENORMOUS picture post...

Karen, Me and Gekas at the Christmas Markt = Love

Christmas Market by night

Adopting the German ways. With a christmas theme.

We are windswept but still gorgeous outside of a windmill we didn't manage to get in the shot

Karen and I miss Old West. A lot.

Theyre adorable and dressed the same. Just kills me.

Gekas' face is a good indication of the deep risk we took in going on the ferris wheel

Karen and I with cocoa.

I am joyful because I found the "Amerika" aisle at Karstadt.
Karen is in agony because she can't take liquids on her flight to London.

The Bremen Town Musicians against a Christmas backdrop. Like a postcard.

Christmas joy.

I am eating a bratwurst so that Gekas the vegetarian can live the german dream vicariously through me.

I'm in love with Christmas

A blurry picture of me drinking Beck's, the Bremen beer. It says Bremen, Germany on Beck's labels.
Think of me next time you drink one.

The Giant Phallic Science Center Thing here on campus. Incidentally, the view from the Dickinson Room.

This picture is Elizabeth's artistic portrayal of: my life. In this picture:
Overpriced organic beef, Rose wine, William Faulkner's "The Sound and the Fury", socks I couldn't afford to dry
